The Actual Date of The Formation of i6 is not known simply because they found themselves be forming i6 as they automatically became friends.
Malik, Modibo and A.D were best friends years before the formation of i6. they had another group called Roca Juniors. Later they got separated as Modibo and A.D got selected to Arusha High School, & Malik got a high school out of town.
Drew and Gordon were friends too befort the i6, they knew each other because they studied the same O- Level school and together they got selected to Arusha High School
Eric is the only one who was "NEW" to all the i6. So in April 2008, thats when Drew, Gordon, A.D, Eric and Modibo got in Arusha High School to begin their A-Level studies.
Drew shared the same Class/studies with Modibo so they became friends and it even grew bigger as they were desk mates so they became very best friends.
Gordon also formed a friendship with Eric who was also already a friend to Drew due to thousands of reasons, one is because they were neighbors, second is because people claimed that they look alike and the third reason they became friends so that i6 could be formed!!!.
So with this Everything became connected as Eric became connected with Gordon and Drew who was already connected to Modibo and A.D
Modibo and Drew shared a class, Eric and A.D shared the other class, and Gordon was on his own but it didnt keep them from sticking together.
Three month later (On July), Malik Joined Arusha High School, he renewed his friendship with Modibo and A.D and he got connected too with Drew, Eric and Gordon.
So now the Six friends were complete but the "i6" idea was yet to be brought in the air.
Normally they would meet in the morning before getting in the class or during break times, they got the school's attention and thats when they started taking the Group serious.
At first they wanted to call themselves fantastic six but it did not sound good to them, thaats when they came up with the idea of "incredible Six" thanks to Malik & Eric.
At the beginning of the year 2009, the i6 produced their first i6 T-Shirts and thats the time which it is considered as the birth of i6. The T-Shirts were black and at first only six T-Shirts were produced for the members but in few weeks people started liking them so more black T-Shirts were produced and given to fans.
February 2010 marked the end of the studies for the i6 at Arusha High School. They finished well and still sticked together.
On June 2010, more T-Shirts of i6 got produced Green, Red, White and Dark Blue were released and many people bought them and they got sold-out.
By that time three Members of i6 were in Dar-es-Salaam Modibo, Eric & Gordon but they all returned to Arusha City in August and the Group got Much Stronger and much bigger.
So far its having many fans in Arusha City and its planning to go wider and bigger.
